Pre Shipment Inspection

Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) consists of all the activities relating to the verification of the quality, quantity, price (including currency exchange rate and financial terms), Customs valuation and classification of goods being exported to the territory of the User’s Government. PSI is a part of supply chain management and an important and reliable quality control method for checking quality of the goods, when clients buy from the suppliers and vendors. IRICO provides PSI services as a part of governmental requirements for trade of goods. Governments have implemented rules and regulations for pre-shipment inspection to ensure that imported goods comply with national mandatory standards.

Given the PSI process is satisfying, a certificate is issued by IRICO confirming compliance of the goods with relevant standards and requirements. The IRICO inspection certificate allows import (or export) party to assure its quality and reliability for the buyer.

Loading Supervision

We supervise the storage process and make sure it’s conducted with utmost care. During loading supervision we double check quantities and perform a quick QC inspection. Basic checks are conducted during the loading process to verify the loading conditions:

  • Floor conditions, i.e. dry, even
  • Condition of boxes, i.e. strength
  • Condition of the container, i.e. solid structure, any transport damages, the ability to protect the goods from weather conditions.There should not be any holes, broken doors or connectors.
  • Packing size, labeling and quantities
  • Stowing, fastening, wedging and protection measures against natural elements.

Our inspectors are trained to make quantity estimates for large lot sizes. Box lables are checked carefully to prevent significant delays and extra custom costs upon arrival at the destination port. IRICO can also take samples for material verifications as per international sampling standards. Should we find any issues, we will inform you immediately for swift action. Shop Inspection

We coordinate and execute inspections for materials and equipment in compliance with international standards, codes and specifications, during fabrication and before delivery. The purpose of such inspection is to ensure that the products are manufactured and delivered in accordance with clients’ requirements at the place of manufacturing before delivering Shop inspection is being undertaken in accordance with the particular procedure but in general may include the following:

  • Inspection of incoming material

Mill Inspection
